A highly successful Concordia Professional Development Conference was held on November 17 and 18. Dr. Allan Yung, President of Concordia Group, HK welcomed all teachers with a speech of positive direction and working together as Concordia Network. Dr. Vicki Anderson visited all the way from Concordia University-Nebraska to be our Keynote speaker regarding school effectiveness and motivation followed by splendid presentations conducted by BCIS teachers.
Teachers and staff from Concordia schools in Shenzhen, Chengdu, Xiamen, Hong Kong, and the United States came together to share strategies and philosophies that impact all students across different cultures and grade levels. Through sharing our diverse experiences and professional training with one another, we continually develop our practices so that we may offer the World-class American education in the Chinese context.
