你可能听到英美人在不同的背景用不同的方式使用这个词，但是你没想过这个词可以很有趣而且有积极的意义吧？
没错，“shit”这个词是骂人的脏话，很强大、很粗鲁很有进攻性，不应该用在敏感和体面的人身上，但是我们仍然可以把它作为有趣和富有娱乐性质的词加到自己的词汇库里。

初始意义（本意）
shit做动词是排便，shit做名词是排泄物。shitty指较差的劣等的。
The Shit
与shitty正好相反，指非常棒的。
· Man, this band is the shit. I really love their music. 这只乐队简直太棒了，我非常喜欢他们的音乐。
· This restaurant is the shit, they have the best spring rolls. 这家餐馆太毙了，春卷做的最好了。
To know your shit (about something)
拓展了特定主题的知识
· That girl really knows her shit about motorcycles 那个丫头真的很会骑摩托！
· If you want to work here you have to know your shit 如果你想在这上班，必须要有相关技能。
A piece of shit
说一个人是 a piece of shit是指这个人没有道德可言，如果用来描述机器、设备，说明该物不好用，或者没达到你的预期。
-How’s the new car?-新车怎么样？
- Oh, it’s a piece of shit. I’ve had to take it to the mechanic several times.糟透了，修了好几次了。
-That guy just stole that woman’s purse! 那个家伙偷了那个女人的钱包！
- Somebody stop that piece of shit! 有人截住了那个人渣！
A shit stirrer
指一个人操纵局势是为了制造麻烦或引起争吵。
- He keeps asking me about my ex-girlfriend. 他不停地问我前女友的事。
- Yeah, he’s a shit stirrer. 是啊，他真是很讨厌，麻烦制造者。
· Stop telling people rumors, you’re such a shit stirrer! 别再散播谣言了，你真是个麻烦制造者。
My/Your/His/Her Shit
用来谈论你的财产，所有物。
-Hey, where can I put all my shit?.嘿，我的行李放哪？
-Just throw it on the floor 放到地板上吧。
Do you mind getting your shit out of my car? 能不能把你的东西从我的车里拿走啊？
A crock/load of shit
指谎言，毫无真相
-Do you know that I’m dating Bingbing?你知道我在和冰冰约会吗？
-What a crock of shit! 扯淡，谁信啊！
· Everything that guy says is a load of shit. 那个家伙说的话没一句是真的。
Full of shit
通常用来表达一个人经常说谎，或者总夸大事实。用这个短语描述一个人，指说出来的话都是谎言。
· There’s no way you said that to your boss, you are so full of shit! 你不可能那样和老板说话的，真是没一句真话。
· He said he won the lottery, but I think he’s full of shit. 他说他中了彩票，但是我觉得不可能。
Be in deep Shit
说明你有麻烦了。可能是财务问题，工作问题或个人问题。
· Shit! If I don’t pay them their money today, I’m gonna be in deep shit.
糟了，今天没给他们钱，我要完蛋了。
· He is in some deep shit because his boss saw him stealing office supplies.
他完蛋来了，因为他老板看到他偷拿办公室的东西。
Good shit
用来指消费品具有高品质、高品位、高性能。大多数情况下用来描述食物、饮料甚至药物。
· Wow, have you tried the coffee? This is good shit.
哇，你喝过这种咖啡没？简直太棒了。
· The weed dealer told Bob that he has the good shit!
那个除草的商贩说他的除草药很管用！
Get your shit together
指用恰当的方式来安排生活，或者整洁的收拾你的东西。经常出自关心你的人的口中，或者能命令到你的人的口中。
· Bob decided to stop doing drugs and start getting his shit together.
鲍勃决定停止吸毒，重新新开始新的生活。
· Our bus leaves in 30 minutes, get your shit together!
汽车30分钟后出发，拿好你们的行李！
Scare the shit out of someone
让人害怕的行为。
· Oh my god, that gunshot just scared the shit out of me! 哦上帝，刚才的枪声吓死我了！
· Cockroaches scare the shit out of my friend Lucy.蟑螂把我的朋友露西吓坏了。
Be scared shitless / Scare someone shitless
指经历一种强烈的情感比如恐惧，或者吓到别人。与care the shit out of someone意思接近。
· I was scared shitless when I went bungee jumping 蹦极时简直把我吓尿了！
· She scared me shitless when she jumped out at me from around the corner
她从角落里突然蹦出来吓死我了。
To get shit faced
饮酒过量后非人的状态。
· Did you see Bob at the party last night? He was shit faced! 昨晚在party看到鲍勃了吗？他喝的烂醉。
· I haven’t been out for a long time, I’m going to get shit faced tonight!
很久没出去了，今晚我要把自己喝醉！
(verb) shit out of someone/something
这里的动词可以互换的，意思是行为很极端而且包含着极端的力量，通常用来表达做出非正常人所做之事。
· I washed the shit out of this t-shirt and it still isn’t clean.
我使劲洗这件T恤都没洗净！
· Anderson beat the shit out of his last opponent.安德森把最后的对手打得不善！
Give someone the shits
反复的激怒某人或者什么东西让你腹泻。
· The way that my boss speaks to me really gives me the shits. 老板对我说话的方式真的让我很生气。
· That spring roll I ate gave me the shits. 吃完春卷拉肚子了。
No shit
你被别人说的话惊呆了，通常具有讽刺意味，因为你早就知道了相关信息。
· Guess what! I just saw a guy eat a whole pizza in 2 minutes! – No shit!
你猜怎么着？我刚才看到一个家伙2分钟吃掉一整张批萨饼。真不可思议!
· Did you know that Michael Jackson died? – No shit.
迈克杰克逊死了你知道吗？切！早知道了！
Not give a shit
说明你对某个主题不感兴趣。
· I don’t give a shit who wins the world cup! 谁赢世界杯我才不在乎呢！
· I told him it was a great opportunity but he didn’t give a shit.
我跟他说过了这是个绝佳的机会，可是他根本不感兴趣。
Shit a brick
非常害怕或担心
· I shit a brick when I heard that the water was contaminated. 听到水被污染了，我好担心。
· He’s going to shit a brick when he sees the spider in his bed.看到床上有蜘蛛他吓坏了。
Tough shit
告诉别人没有办法改变当前的状况，更礼貌的表达就是too bad
· Bob said he was going to give me a ride to work but he forgot about me.
鲍勃说他会载我去单位，但是他给忘了。
-Tough shit. 真糟糕
· I just lost my job. – Tough shit. 我刚丢了工作。太糟糕了。
Up shit creek
是个缩写，表示深陷困境，是个比喻，表示不愉快，没有办法摆脱糟糕的局面。
· How’s your marriage going Bob? – Up shit creek.
鲍勃你的婚姻生活咋样啊？别提了，好痛苦。
· My car broke down in the middle of the dessert and I don’t have any food or water.
我的汽车在沙漠中抛锚了，我又没带食物和水。
- Looks like you are up shit creek my friend. 亲，听起来太糟糕了。
When the shit hits the fan
指丑闻出现，让情况变得更糟糕。
· The shit really hit the fan when she found out what her boyfriend was really doing all weekend.
发现她男朋友周末的所作所为，事情变得更糟了。
· If my boss knew what I was doing the shit would hit the fan. 如果我老板知道我所做的事情就糟了。
Shit happens
指要接受事实，总有些不好的事情发生，我们无力改变。
· Someone just stole your motorcycle! – Oh well, shit happens, you have insurance.
有人刚偷了你的摩托车！哎，世事无常，好在有保险。
· You’ll get fired if you say that to your boss. I don’t care, shit happens.

Holy shit
并不含宗教色彩的表达，指对发生的事情或某人正在做的事情很震惊。
· Holy shit!! Did you just see that 天啊，刚刚你看到了吗？
Shit for brains
用来描述一个人不聪明，粗心大意。
· That shit for brains Bob will never get it right. 凭鲍勃那个笨蛋永远也搞不明白的。
· He just left his car in neutral at the top of a hill. – What a shit for brains thing to do.
他在山上停车竟然把档位放空挡。太粗心大意了！
Does a bear shit in the woods?
用来表达这是多么显而易见的事情，用讽刺的口吻表达对方问的问题是多么的愚蠢。
· Are you going to the party this weekend? -Does a bear shit in the woods? Of course I’m going!
-这个周末去参加party不？-还用说？我当然去！
Shoot the shit
. 愉快放松地与朋友聊些无关紧要的事情。
· Me and Bob are going to go down to the pub to shoot the shit a little, do you want to come?
我和鲍勃要去酒吧聊聊天，你来不？
· I was just shooting the shit with a work mate and I found out that Bob is getting fired.
我刚刚和同事闲聊时才知道鲍勃被开除了.
A shit list
指心里有份名单，有人做什么事情惹恼了你，或者做了什么坏事，你不想与这个人来往，就被列入了黑名单。
· I’ve been on Bob’s shit list ever since I told him that I hate his football team.
自从我跟鲍勃说我不喜欢他的足球队，他就不理我了。
· Say that again and I’ll put you on my shit list! 你再说一次我就把你拉黑！
Shit or get off the can
你想要让某人做决定或马上采取行动时时说的。
· You always say that you want to end your relationship but you never do. Shit or get off the can man!
你总说要结束这段关系，可是一直没有，赶紧痛快儿地！
Shit out of luck
当你觉得运气不好，而又无法改变什么的时候，可以直接用缩写S.O.L.来表达。与sore out of luck同义。
· The tickets have all sold out and I really want to go to the show. 票都卖光了，可我真的很想去看表演。
- It seems like you areshit out of luck my friend! 看来运气不佳啊朋友。
· Sorry, you’re S.O.L., I just finished the rest of the ice cream.
不好意思，你点子不好，我刚把冰淇淋都吃完。
现在知道了吧，经常被挂在嘴边的bad word也有积极的含义，现在是你shit or get off the can的时候了，把这些表达融入你的个人字典（词汇库）里吧。
但是要记住在正式场合和保守的人面前不要说这些bad words, 但是如果你能把shit用到极致，你会享受到很多乐趣。
