Pat Hutchins
作者缩影:1942年出生于英国的约克郡的佩特·哈群斯,从小与乡间田野、林间动物为伍,培养了她深爱大自然的个性,也成为日后创作绘本的泉源。
代表作:大名鼎鼎的 Rosie's Walk《母鸡萝丝去散步》;《风吹起来》(The Wind Blew,1974);《蒂奇》(Titch,1971);《千变万化》(Changes, Changes ,1971);《一个猎人》(One Hunter,1983);《最坏最坏的妖兽》(The Very Worst Monster,1985)等三十多部。

"Oh dear,"said Ma as the children stared at the cookies on their plates.
“天呐,”妈妈说,孩子们呆呆的望着盘子里的饼干。
"Perhaps you'd better eat them before we open the door."
“你们要不要在我开门之前先把饼干吃掉”。
"We'll wait," said Sam.
“还是等一下吧”,Sam说。
It was Grandma with an enormous tray of cookies.
这次是奶奶,还拿了超大一盘饼干。
"How nice to have so many friends to share them with,"said Grandma.
“这么多朋友来一起分享真是太好了,”奶奶说。
"It's a good thing I made a lot!"
