I agree with the statement that the extended family has become less importantthan it was before. Firstly, as more and more people are becoming financialindependent hence lower the need to depend on extended family. There are morepeople in the extended family and we have to take their emotions intoconsideration when we make decisions. It takes a lot of time and energies tocoordinate relationships.
Secondly, our toleration power to accept others' view point in family is declining. Children
always have different opinions upon their(删掉)love a affairs, homework and pocket money which
their parents can not understand. When they grow up, they will go tobigger cities and set up their own business. They will not tolerate their parents any more.(删掉)
Even living together for parents and children is difficult due to generation gapcreated by fastest growing technology. Technology is creating very big gap inthe shortest possible time which gives birth to bigger generation gap andlesser understanding in the family then it was in the past.
Being more and more aware of individual rights due to high tech communication system, internet and social media. The individuals, nowadays, have a tendency topursuit a more flexible life where privacy and freedom are taken into mainconsideration. Hence, the conventional extended family seems to violate thissort of percept. Suppose one young man lived in an extended family, all he has done would be more likely to be perceived than if he lived alone. What’s more,he could not sing aloud, for example, in the midnight, given that all otherfamily members have fallen asleep, which, on the other hand, could be done ifhe chose to live by himself.
Due to economic growth world wide, importanceof material products, fashion, luxury, comfort is increasing at the cost oflove for the family members.
The diverse relationships of family, unanimously, are seen as the cornerstone of arosy and fragrant society. We shouldlive along with members embracing the same values.
