As you can see from the title, I failed the interview from Chanel.
To be honest, I don't know the reasons why I would possibly fail. The only possible explanation may come from stronger candidates' existence. Although I believe I prepared very well for this time's interview, I may still have a stronger candidate competing with me. I remember the beauty advisor I talked with having three years of experience at Benefit. And things may have negative effects when I told the HR I hadn't had KPI before. They may think I don't have much experience of customer service (and I truly don't ).
The suggestion for the next time: 1. big companies always have strong candidates, so I should be aware of having other strong competitors. 2. I shouldn't mention anything may have negative effects on offer, even I assume these wouldn't have any influence. 3. Prepare cover letter ASAP, and try to persuade employers of my ambition.
I will still try to contact Chanel to explore reasons, but I am not sure if they would reply me.
And, I talk to myself: if I couldn't make myself positively facing setbacks from job hunting, how could I persuade my clients into trying my plan and starting action? Thus, I need to write down the procedure of self-care and the whole way of job search, and help to encourage my future clients to try something different than their old ways.
