My favorite movie

When I have this topic, quickly searching my brain, there are two movies that impresses me most. One is The Shawshank Redemption, the other is Forrest Gump. Both are pretty good movies which deserves repeatedly watching. But I like the former better. Why? here are my reasons:
First, it is a movie about time, patience, loyalty. The protagonist Andy Dufresne is accused as murdering his wife and her lover. But he doesn't. So he is sentenced to death twice and is sended to shawshank prison. In the prison, he made friend with Red who has been in the prison for twenty years because of murder. The whole story is narrated by Red. In the prison, Andy is like a free man who hangs over in the prison yard like in his own yard. This reminds me what Viktor Frankl once said, the last of the humun freedoms---to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way. He bas powerful mindset.
Second, he is the one who is patient and intelligent enough to be the friend of time. In the prison, he write a letter to the mayor every week. It takes him seven years to get permitted to build a library in prison. He speeds 20 years digging a life tunnel by using a small rock hammer. I learned from him that patience and perserverance have great power.
Finally, knowledge matters, too. He was a banker before he is arrested. He knows all bout bookkeeping and tax preparation. As his fame spreads, eventually he's doing the taxes and pension plans for most of the officers of the local prison system. Thus he gets better treated than others. He has the chance to get out of prison.
That's all about the movie which teaches me a lot on how to be a better person.
