We all learn the poems of LiBai--one of China greatest poets.His poems show a romantic and free spirit. But is that all there was to him? Cartoon movie Chang'an shows us a different LiBai. In the movie, Li drinks a lot.He likes to have parties. Sometimes he doesn't keep promises to his friend--Gao Shi. He also goes after money. The movie's co-director Xie Junwei said, LiBai was not all good, but that is more real.
According to the movie, Li wants to become a officer, but his family ran a business. Businessmen couldn't become officers at that time. So he tried to get to know the important people in Chang'an. But he did sth wrong and he had to leave Chang'an. Li's life was hard, he never realized his dream, but his poems stay with us.
