I have to admit that I am a traveler. I go to several places a year. The landscape and things of China and foreign countries have been seen in my eyes. However, there is still one place I want to visit, that's the Palace Museum.
I have been to the museum twice, each time with different people and the same purpose: to have fun. I just go in there and walk, and have no idea of what is around me. I had no idea which palace I was in and where I was supposed to go when I was there. I once had the idea that the Taipei Palace Museum has hundreds of times more objects than the Beijing Palace Museum, so I just look at the red walls.
Two years after visiting the museum, this year is the 600th anniversary of the Forbidden City, which is the predecessor of the Palace Museum. There is going to be a large exhibition this year, and some famous Chinese paintings are going to be shown. Due to the COVID-19, the show is postponed to October. The names of the paintings are famous in China, therefore, I decided to see them.
A few days ago, I heard a speech given by the president of the museum. He said that the museum has changed a lot in the past decade. He told me that the museum is the largest IP in China and exactly how large it is. I finally found out that I haven't really gone to the famous Palace Museum. The last time I went there, I just visited there for a morning. This time, I decided to visit there all day, begin before sunrise and end after sunset.
Wish me good luck.
