四周没去上英语课了~我给Eric说了最近工作的变动—去了新的项目需要适应环境，业务和人际上都挑战自己。课程最后，Eric在白板上写下一句话

今天我说的多一些，没有按教材来，我在表达的时候反倒轻松些。谈的是自己的生活，所以语速比较快，但还是不够地道。谈了新的项目组工作，谈了最近看的摩登家庭女主上EllenShow的访谈受刺激。
我讲一段，Eric就纠正我这段中不太地道的表达。今天学的更多的是Idioms。Eric留作业，说下次可以聊更多有关Idiom。

voluptuous adj. 撩人的；性感丰满的
sophisticated adj.复杂的；精致的
lucrative adj. 有利可图的，赚钱的；合算的
[Expressions]
1. 项目裁员
reduce the number of employees
our company is downsizing(tone:neg) / restructuring(tone:neg&pos for business more)
2.认识
get acquainted
get to know
3.执行
I followed the company’s directives( more business)/direction.
4.有更多的影响力/话语权
I have more input/say
5.主动性
take more initiatives
6.需要XX的同意/认可
needs his approval(stamp of approval-official) / need his green light
（此处的green light就是我很喜欢的表达方式，画面感强；idiom指的就是这种表达）
7.跑腿儿
do more leg work
8.表达初级、中级、高级
junior /senior /executive(talk about the level)
比lower /higher level product manager更好
supreme court(talk about the ability)
9.身材好/曲线玲珑
she has many curves/she’s voluptuous/sexy/full figured/sophisticated
三围：body measurement chest waist hips
沙漏型：she has an hour-glass body/figure
梨型：a pear figure (bottom heavy)
10.搞笑
laughable-comedic/humorous/funny
笑尿了：It was so funny and it me cry / I pee’d
11.画面感强的
depictive/ draws a picture
12.需要找一个新劳力
we need to find another cow to milk
13.这个项目很赚钱
this project is a cash cow/lucrative/profitable(will make a lot of many)

buy one/get their hands on one

reminds me of junior school / it takes me back to junior school
讲到看EllenShow没有字幕听着费劲时，Eric建议我，听到不懂的地方，尽量rely on myself and relax，相信自己的判断。
下课了，Eric和往常一样，送我出门。路上他说，对于比较tough的时期，要尽量放松自己，control what you can control.
很庆幸在生活乱成一团的时候，能遇到这么多给我鼓励的朋友和导师。
