I woke up really early.
Or should i say i didn't sleep.
Diarrhea, 4478 metres, two single thick quilt. No warmer, no hot stove, surround us just smell of vomitus.
My so far strongly companion had collapsed since we arrived, headache. I cannot remove no shirts, just to curl up to count for the quilt to become warmer.
And finally the sun hits on my head. I know, no excuse, it is time to hit the road.
.....
..........
In the end we were sitting here by the road from 9:30 a.m. Till noon. 5 cars passes, none stop. I don't blame them, they r all fully equipped: vans, bikes, quilts, even one yak was waving us goodbye from one of the car.
So here we r. Sitting here, facing the white horse. He stares at us, we stare at him.
By long distance, i saw a small dot moving.. A dog?? A yak? Another white horse so we can ride on them finally???!
...
But here she is.
An old mama.
I tried to asked her the three philosophy questions, as i am sphinx. That who is she? where she is from? And Where she is going?
Yet she just shaking her heads politely, mumbling words i believe means she dont understand, yet lifting her hands, poinging the way we r heading. Far, far away.
Still i would believe she is the lake herself, trying to tell us not to lose hope to seeing her
Not unexpectedly, not long after she left, theres a huge shadow covering me......
A motor.
' u two r still here?? '
'ehhhhhhh, yeah? Why? '
'I'm from the village up there, this morning i passed by here seeing u guys, and still now u r here?? C'mon, climb up, i'll take u two a small ride.'
.....
I looked at the slim narrow space left behind him, nodding, embarrassed.
(here pls see the vedio i will sent to u by wechat)
Yet the ride was sooooooo cooooooool no??? Papi!?????
Now i understand the book ' zen and the art of motorcycle maintainence.'!!'' u could totally catch the wind, the atmosphere, a butterfly, and of coz the pooo pooo of the birds!!! Haha
Papi why dont we next time try with a trip with motor??!!!!
Anyway, on the way we passed by an amazing temple
And he said tomorrow it is a big day also that everyone around the temple will come to it^^
And just like how it started sharp, it ended too fast.
He dropped us off in another village, which was around 20 kms more from the first one. He said that the motor could only take us here coz the lake we wanna go have to climb up the mountain till 5070 metres and obviously the motor do not have enough power...
But he invited us to a tea house to have a rest, and say he is gonna take care of the cars, to stop them, he told us not to worry, but just sit here and relax.
So i cannot help but...
I(cool)am(cool)a(cool)new-era(cool)motor(cool)cycle(cool)girl!!!!
Hahahahahahahahaha
And there he is, the nicest ppl I've met so far on this trip.....
His nicely calm village... With the radio ringing local tibetan songs in the pirimary school.. I'll attach the vedio i shoot also, to let u feel^^
Therrfore, i was so comfort and moved. The worst plan is to stay here, amongst these nice ppl for one more night and then to hit the lake...
Yet the chances always hits u in an unexpectedly time.....
Here comes a white car. They works for the state grid corp of china.
They promised to take us there, but after they fixed the cable here in the village.
Therefore...finally we have to leave the comfortable welcoming village
Papi... Next year, wt abt i bring u here to stay for a night??!!!! They r such nice person!!!!!!! Helping u without asking any kind of rewards.. Maybe i was raised up within city therefore i could never believe there's still this simple giving for strangers amongst ppl.....
Out of our expectations, we reached the highest village, and the famous Pumoyongcuo lake.
Here it is the entrance.
Air is thick here.
And besides the lake lays a small quiet temple.
There it is only a monk here, around 70+ yrs old. He was trying to come down the stairs step by step slowly when we reached. With his right hand still holding the prayer wheel. I guess he do not understand mandarin, but when we passed by, he smile gently, and waving his hands. With his loose cotton plain clothes and the prayer wheel, he slowly walks away, suddenly, he seems like a just borned kiddo, with a lollipop in his right hand and his open-seat pants.
Life is a circle.
I dunno how long i have yelled and screamed and jumped and immediately gasp coz of lack of oxygen.
But. It. Was. Breathe. Taken.
U could only realised how small ppl are facing the great science.
But how great ppl are. The ruins from our ancestors, lying in the snow for thousands and thousands yrs.
One of the four holy mountain here, lying behind the lake.
Somehow wt is interesting it is the perception of affiliation from all these rural scenes. Sea, mountain, great waves, rangy fields.... All these could always makes u feel home. And reminds u of 'where u stand solid it is ur land'. That afterall u should live like a farmer, to own a acre of field, to dig up, to seed, to ploughing, to weeding. This is earth. And this is where we lived, but we had already forgotten the very basic knowledge, but just to know that if u open the tap, water comes; To go to the market, fruits comes. But none of us know when is the season to seed, and how to ploughed a field. This is the outcome from the indistrial revolution, u cannot judge it from bad or good, yet as evolving, we ppl do had lost a lot of primordial awakeness, the worst thing is we do not even know or care.
Sorry papi i was here complaining and sort of mumbling a lot.... Just maybe something hits me in the recent days, from wt i see and wt i have lived...
I truly hope that u r here, but somehow u know u r here with me, always.
Papi..if we got a chance, let's roll up our pants and try to ploughed fields, could u???? Accompany me?????
