这张图片瞬间解开了留存在我心中的一个百日谜团：就是为什么最近大家都在说“吃鸡”？我隐隐知道它有吉祥，祝福之意，但是关于它的起源，以及为何流行却一无所知。

1、Chicken这个词在英语中有“胆小鬼”意思，Don't be a chicken! 这句话意思是“不要做胆小鬼”。chicken-hearted则表示胆小的，软弱的。
2、spring chicken：在美国以及其他西方国家，问别人的年龄是认为不礼貌的，也是很忌讳的事。因而美国人用spring chicken来形容年轻少女。
