How to earn money from writing articles by order requirements? I believe that I should find three types of people. Today, I’d like to introduce the second type.
Part Two – find a boss
Finding a boss is really, really important, because a boss can give me the most direct feedback from a business perspective.
A boss’s main job is choosing the direction, for example, what will be the theme of the articles, what is the expecting transfer rate ofreaders to be customers, and so on. Bosses judge writers' work by salaries and care only about results. By communication and confliction with bosses, we writers will experience the real world’s need.
The main problem of new comers in writing is that we hardly gain comments. Since bosses have been in a certain industry of a period of time, they have further understandings and their advices are more useful. Writing missions provided by a boss have the features of limited time and quantified requirements, the articles can be measured and improved more efficiently.
A boss is usually very pragmatic. He is always telling the truth since he pays me not the other way around. Usually, when we ask for advice from family members or friends, they won’t say bad things. As a result, we improve slowly. People who can criticize me are really valuable. So I am pretty proud of having several bosses, and will continue to develop and maintain such "friendship".
Then the question comes, how to find a boss? Many media companies will put contact information, or job vacancies offered on the Internet, so you can search and find them. Send a CV and former works to a potential boss. If the work they need, they will hire you.
