The national day is approaching,at the same time a news that we will have lesson every saturday after National Day has been widely spread these days. That is to say, we don't have two- day weekend from then on. Whether it is good or bad has been discussed heatedly. Some are in favor of it while others are against it. As far as i'm concerned, it depends on what you think.
To some extent, having lessons on saturdays is of great benefit to the students. They will learn more detailedly about the lesson,as well as own more time to review what they learn. However,as for me, it is not a good news because I have to sacrifice my time that I ought to spend on my daughter. I have less time to accompany my daughter and do my what I really like to my heart's content. Besides, I have to pay for the bus fare again.
When I told the news to my mother-in-law, she said,"Serve the people.",which made me have a second thought about the news. First of all, it can't be denied that I have more time to be with my students, teaching them more knowledge. Therefore, I hold the belief that I should think of more creative methods to cultivate my students' interest in learning English, so that my class should be more well-arranged and vivid than before. Secondly, I should assign more homework for them to accomplish. With all these efforts, I am sure that my students' academic performance will gradually improved.
Let's enjoy the national holiday, and look forward to the coming of one-day weekend!
