Book Report on The Little Prince
It is said thatThe Little Princeis a fairy tale for adults. Although I am 18years old, I do think I need the company of the fairy tales. It is refreshingto read a fairy tale after a busy day.
It seems that the more we have, the lesswe are likely to take heed of our inner world. I am greatly indebted to thelittle prince who helped me solve this problem.
It is the little prince who confides tome a simple secret. “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly,” Hesaid, “What is essential is invisible to the eyes.” It can be seen that genuinefeelings are more important than the item itself. However, it is noticeablethat we care more about substance rather than spirit.
Like what the little prince said in thisbook, though there are so many beautiful roses in the garden, but what we arelooking for could be a single rose. The little prince once had a rose on hissmall planet, but he abandoned her without realizing her love. After a longtime, he realized the rose played a significance role in his life. It is thespecial feeling that makes his rose different from the others.
It can’t be denied that the richest oneis not the happiest one. Money is not equivalent to happiness. It is not thefirst price to strive for. There is no doubt that money is needful andprecious. When well used, it can be a noble thing. For example, happiness fromdonations to the needy is far more valuable than cash itself.
This story reminds us to be graceful forwhat we have. What matters is not how much we have, but satisfaction with whatwe have.
