Several months ago, I told you that I wanted to learn swimming, because I didn't want my spouse to be bothered by the classic conundrum/confusing question : if your mother and wife fell into a river at the same time, whom would you save first? So after I back to my hometown, I hired a trainer to teach me how to swim. I thought these kind of one-to-one classes are helpful, but very expensive. I found that the biggest challenge for a beginner swimmer is not the technique, but getting over the fear of water. I tried my best to conquer my fear. So after choking on a lot of water, I've learnt how to swim breaststroke. Then a few weeks ago, I went to a water park with friends. I was eager to show off that I could swim, because they used to call me a non-swimmer. But things were quite the opposite about my imagination, because they could swim several strokes and I could only swim breaststroke. Then I made up my mind to take another lessons to lean crawl. However, leaning crawl is ten times harder than I thought. I feel exhausted after the swimming classes. Since I've already paid for the money, I will keep learning crawl.
