Recent studies have revealed that HOXA11-AS could serve as an important biological marker and therapeutic target for other types of tumors [13–15]. However, there is no report about the role of lncRNA HOXA11-AS in breast cancer
In recent years, many studies have reported that lncRNA is involved in tumor invasion and metastasis by regulating EMT. Hao et al. [21] found that, as an important regulatory factor, lincRNA 01186 was involved in lung cancer cell invasion and metastasis by regulating EMT. Additionally, our results revealed interference in lncRNA HOXA11-AS could result in changes in the expressions of EMT molecular markers such as E-cadherin, N-cadherin, and Vimentin.
