I went into one barber shop after work. To be honest, I hesitated whether I should step into this shop every time I walked by. I admit its barbers’ skills but I hate that everyone in this shop persuade me to buy their VIP card which seems their job is not haircut but selling cards. I’ll describe the whole process of their promotion. When I step into the shop, one girl will greet me and ask whether I have their VIP card. Of course, no! and the first attack begins. She will persuade me to buy their card. I just shake my head. When another girl wash my hair, she’ll ask me again. But she doesn’t promote so straightly. She’ll ask where I live and work and whether I married. And then she’ll use the information she collected from me to persuade me to buy their card. Of course, no! This is the second round. And then the barber will fire again. But now I already have no patience to listen to his words. I just close my eyes and never say anything. When I show my payment code to the cashier, she’ll tell me how cheap it’ll be if I have their VIP card and persuade me to buy one. At this time, I’ll clench my fists and squeeze a smile and say no. How terrible! I’m tortured by them once a month. I’m sure there must be lots of customers fed up with their bombing promotion and buy finally. I hate this marketing tactics.
When I left this shop and waited for the green light, one guy came towards me and sent me one flyer and ask me whether I bought their VIP card. I was even crazy.
