Today is Monday.
I am going to read another book in my list, The Story of Ferdinand.
Once upon a time there was a bull named Ferdinand living in Spain. He didn't live like the other bulls who always ran and jumped and butted their heads together. Ferdinand just liked to sit quietly and smell the flowers. There was a spot on the pasture where standed a cork tree. It's Ferdinand's favorite place to sit and smell flowers. His mother, who was a cow, worried about him. She asked him why he didn't like to play with the other bulls. She was afraid that he would be lonesome, but she found he was always happy to stay alone. So she didn't worry any longer. Ferdinand grew bigger and stronger, while other bulls fought with each other all day long. They all wanted to go to Madrid to fight at the bull fights. Only Ferdinand didn't think so. He still sat and smelled flowers all day long. One day five men came to pick the strongest and fastest bull to the fights. Ferdinand knew they wouldn't pick him and he didn't care.
