1. 强调句/断裂句

All I do is wait wait wait.

主语部分含有实意动词do（包括do 的其他形式或非谓语形式），同时含有all（所有概念）, the first（序数概念）, the best（最高级概念）等表示“所有，唯一”等概念的词语，或由what 引导的主语从句，后面不定式可以省略to。例如：

All I want to do now is (to) drink some water. 我想做的一切就是喝点水。

All she did yesterday was (to) sweep the floor. 她昨天做的一切就是打扫了地板。

The first thing for the thief to do is (to) run away. 小偷想做的第一件事就是逃跑。

If you want further information the best thing to do is have a word with the driver as you get on the bus. 如果你想了解更多信息,最好的办法是在上公交车时问一问司机。

What he wanted to do was (to) become a skillful worker.他的愿望是成为一个技术熟练的工人。

e.g. Often the interviewer will need to play devil's advocatein order to get a discussion going. 采访者常常需要故意唱唱反调以使访谈继续下去。
