I have been reading "The boron letters" recently. Following are some opinions from the author:
1. You should do an hour of "road work" every morning to normalize your day. It can be walking, jogging, running. (After 40 minutes, your body secretes some kind of chemicals to drain off your tension and anxiety)
2. You should eat 3 pieces of fruit every day. A piece of banana for breakfast is excellent. And a large bowl of sort of bran cereal.
3. You should fast one day a week to normalize your week.
4. You should take some vegetables with you to munch whenever and wherever you get hungry.
5. You should have muscular arms to be attractive to female and also keep you away from many troubles. You don't have to be bulging like body builders.
I haven't finished reading the book. But I've been having a piece of banana along bread as breakfast. The author of the book also pointed out that six small meals a day is much better than three big ones. I totally agree with him on this. My stomach didn't feel good when I had 3 big meals per day. Now I feel so good with six small ones. Have an apple 1 hour before lunch and an orange after work at 8PM make me feel great.
Yet I haven't started "road work". I have been reading after get up from bed. My left eye has been jumping in the last few days I think it's because I have been reading too much recently before go to bed. I have been to this situation before when I had been memorizing new English words earlier. It was worse then this one. Guess I have to control myself a little to avoid further problem.
I am excited at how good I can learn new words recently. I am using the method from a book called "learn how to learn" by Barbara Oakley. The most incredible point is that you should change between focused mode and diffuse mode when learning. Another important point is that recall is much better than repeat reading.
Let's call it a week! Excited for the new week to begin.
