Ling invited four church friends to have dinner at home this Friday. The guests were all very nice and had good manners, and I especially enjoyed listening to Sister Waters and Elder Waters sharing their love story and how many grandchildren they have. Sister Waters revealed that when they first met each other, she was together with her female friends. At that moment, she told her friends instantly, “Hands off! He is mine!!!” It seems that when people meet the right persons in the right moment in the right place, they can sense it clearly.
Thanks for Jenny and Ling’s excellent cooking skills, we enjoyed such a delicious dinner. In particular, I liked the tempura fish served with sour and sweet tomato sauce. Also, I got a chance to taste water chestnut cake/ jelly with sugar cane, made by another Ling. Initially, I mixed it up with Menzi, which is a famous local snack in Dalian and is made from sweet potato flour. It turned out to be so tasty and I especially like the chewy texture! Thank you for bringing me so much fresh experience!
