咱们“熟人哈1读书营”已经进行十多天了，聊天征询意见时，有小伙伴提出语言点讲的详细虽然好，却难免增添阅读的负担，减损了读书的兴味，那么从第四章起我尽量减少讲义篇幅、对非必要掌握内容不赘述（我有偏爱的词就任性讲一讲），同时作业布置上也尽量以趣味性为主，大家阅读中遇到问题可以随时群内沟通，有好的想法多多提出，感谢。

一、重点单词：

虽然一看这个句子就知道讲的啥意思，但就是想对应上，奈何这是第二个朗文找不到对应词义，但是苹果自带有的词。
The giant took a gulp of tea and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.

a large amount of something that you swallow quickly, or the action of swallowing 一大口；吞咽

He took a huge gulp of brandy.
他喝了一大口白兰地。
作名词时gulp和楼上swig都是一大口的意思
大家有没有想起什么一大口？我们看个句子：
She gulped down her breakfast and ran for the bus.
gulp down=gulp，有没有似曾相识？？没错，Jeff老师讲的gobble down，句子的意思是：她狼吞虎咽地吃完早饭，跑去赶公交车了。
这里gulp作动词时，意思：to swallow large quantities of food or drink quickly 大口吞咽 ，快速吞下
所以我们在这里总结一下迄今见过的狼吞虎咽：pig out = wolf = gobble down = gulp down，另外补充bolt down也是一样的意思
bolt这个词常用意思是门窗的插销，我们在第一章见的是bolt of lightning，闪电。
另外我觉得swig作动词更侧重喝一大口，所以没有列在狼吞虎咽之列。
