The Moon And Sixpence is I read the frist original book.To be honest,it's a little difficult for me.
Luckily I didn't give up and continued to read it for the past time.
Strickland's action maybe I cann't agree,but I admire him for his courage. Strickland given up all(wife,kids,family,treasure,career,ect),and hislife became very hard,no enough money.
He seem doesn't care anything,expect drawing.But it's strange that when before he died,he ask his woman burn up his last work.
I can not understand that Strickland's thought .He know what he want to do and what he doesn't like to do.And the important is that he doesn't care about other people's attitude. Maybe this is the difference between I and genius.
Because there are many words I just know their simple meaning,so I only know the novel's general idea，I can't get the author's implication.
Every people all have their dream or something they would like to pay their all life , we should respect every one's choice.
I believe it for me is a good start,it will be better and better in the next time.I hope I can find my moon.
