Before marriage, men get to us whenever we call; after marriage, no reply whenever we call; before marriage, men do everything we require, after marriage, they play online games all the time; before marriage, they care us with whole heart, after marriage, they leave us by ourselves; before marriage, they call us honey or baby, after marriage, they force us to be maidservant. We do what babysister does, but have lower treatment……Too many widowed-like marriages, break many females’ hearts.
I love you sincerely, but you tread on my heart.
Before relationship confirmed, men always try their best to win our hearts. Once have us, their attitude change thoroughly. In a second, their love fades, what is left is their indifference. Before marriage, men remember every anniversary, so many gifts, so many romantic things, so many surprises. After marriage, no longer any anniversary, no gifts, no romance, no surprise, no candlelight dinner, what left are merely endless cooking smoke, to-be washed clothes, to-be cleaned floors……The men who have made promise to take care of us in the rest of our lives, doing nothing once get home. Oh, it seems that men’s responsibility is merely earn money. As long as they have handsome salary and hand it to wives, they are perfect husbands. Oh, it seems that men are entitled to leave home related work along due to their career, entitled to keep away housework since they are able to make money, entitled to sit and play and wait for meals or for sleep.
Day after day, year after year, negative emotion accumulates, complaints accumulate. The couple who loved each other become broken pair who hate each other. Love exhausts gradually, life has no passion, each of the couple stoops to compromise. Once read an article, a woman wanted to get divorce after her children got to college. The woman was over fifty years old, how could she acted so stubborn. No matter how did her children persuade, she did not change her decision. For the family, she devoted everything. For the family, she gave up her career, doing a job with low salary and much free time. For the family, she bore hard works without any complaints. However, her husband showed no understanding or respect. Women should give priority to family, man is entitled to have ready meal due to stressful job. It seems that if men have not married, they do not need to work. How easy for women to cook and wash. What if change the roles between men and women if women’s live is very easy? How ridiculous, how sad. The woman forbore her grievance day after day for the sake of her children. Today, when children are grown up, she should live for herself. However, children may not be happy growing up in such environment. As long as we are happy, can we able to bring happiness to our children.
One devotes all, while the other does not feel thankful. Such marriage only brings pain. For one’s family, too many women give up career and prospect. The man who vowed to love us and take care of us for the whole life betray himself. “What is wrong with doing housework, while eating mine, using my money”; “You do nothing everyday, just need to cook and wash and look after children, why you fail to do well of such simple things”……So helpless, so miserable. There is a saying that we would rather to demolish ten temples instead of a marriage. However, it is pointless to remain in an unfortunate marriage. Do not feel unwilling to leave a man with no love for the sake of children. Such marriage, should be end timely. Do not wait to leave when there is not much value left.
What has discussed above is merely my personal opinion. Each person has your own pursue of life. For those who are single, please do not lose confidence in marriage. Please believe that there is your man who will provide hot water with brown sugar to you during your period time. He will bring warmth to you the while life. As Eileen Chang said “there is a man waiting for you on this world, no matter when and where. Anyhow you know there is such man”. For those who have fortunate marriage, please be happy forever. For those who are unfortunate, hope you achieve happiness soon.
“When like you, I get too low to dust, and then come out flowers”. Even if flowers bloom, they will wither as time goes by without watering. Thus, merely accumulate disappointment, and turn to despair one day. Once get despair, please do not forbear. Our remaining years are very long, no matter which stage we are in, we should make the rest of our life better. Please remember, good divorce surpasses bad marriage.
