阜沙镇位于珠江三角洲中心、中山市北部枢纽，镇域面积35.41平方千米，辖卫民、牛角、阜东、罗松、阜沙、大有、丰联、上南8个村和阜圩社区，人口5.89万人，其中户籍人口3.79万人。2015年，全镇地区生产总值49.47亿元，税收总额6.75亿元，固定资产投资11.51亿元，登记在册市场主体3862户，其中个体工商户2527户，三次产业比例为5.8∶55.6∶38.6。
新世纪以来，阜沙镇域经济稳健发展，先后获得中国淋浴房产业基地、国家火炬计划精细化工特色产业基地、全国休闲渔业示范基地、国家级生态镇、国家卫生镇、省教育强镇、市平安镇、市宜居示范镇等称号。境内浮虚山文脉悠远、风景独特，“浮虚春涛”曾入选古代香山八景。现有浮虚山公园、中山市现代水利园、中山现代渔业博览园、寒秋博物馆、阜圩文化旅游街等景点，并在浮虚山建成全省首个定向越野公园。渔博园正升级打造为国家农业公园。同时，城镇功能品质不断提升。近年来，先后入驻五星级阜沙国贸逸豪酒店、大信新都汇·阜沙店等商业综合体,以及富逸上苑、澳华花园等高端商住小区。
当前，伴随着人流、物流、信息流、资金流竞相聚集，电商、仓储、文化、旅游业蓬勃兴起，阜沙镇正步入城乡一体、产城融合发展的新纪元。
Lying in the central part of thePearl Riverdelta, Fusha town is located in the northern part of Zhongshan city. With a total area of 35.41 square kilometers and a total population of 5,890, it governs 8 villages (Weimin, Niujiao, Fudong, Luosong,Fusha, Dayou, Fenglian and Shangnan) and the Fuxu community. In 2015, Fusha town reported a GDP of RMB 4.947 billion, a gross tax of RMB 1.151billion and a total fixed assets investment of 1.151billion. Among the 3826 registered market businesses, there are 2527 individual industrial and commercial households; the proportion of three industries is 5.8:55.6:38.6.
Since the beginning of the new century,Fusha’s economy has continued to show stable development, thus making it embrace many honors and prizes, such as “China Shower Room Industry Base”,“National Torch Plan Fine Chemical Industry Base”, “National Leisure Fishery Demonstration Base”, “National Ecological Town”, “State Hygienic Town”,“Provincial Top Education Town”, “Safe Town of Zhongshan City”, “Habitat DemonstrationTown of Zhongshan City” and so on. It’s worth visiting Fusha for its natural and cultural sights in Fuxu Mountain, which has long literature history and fantastic sceneries. “The Spring Waves of Fuxu Mountain”had been included in the Eight Sceneries of Xiangshan (Zhognshan city)in ancient China.Now it has the Fuxu Mountain Park,Hanqiu Museum and Fuxu Cultural Tourism Street for people to engage its history, culture and natural sceneries. In addition, Fusha has many wonderful man-made tourist recourses, such as the Modern Water Conservancy Park of Zhongshan City, Modern Fishery Exposition Park of Zhongshan City. The first orienteering park in Guangdong province was built in Fusha Mountain, thus making Fusha a hot place for the orienteering athletes.
