For today:
With his new portfolio, JC came to office for the first time. Had a brief conversation with him. Key points raised by him:
- Driver for his decision to take on the new responsibilities: pursuit of solving difficult problems.
- Key mission: integration of all the sales and marketing resources of J, so as to achieve the targets set by the 5-year plan. At least three brands should be introduced/expanded to achieve that. The current annual loss of 1B of JV should be reduced gradually by adding new J models and products of another brand.
- Major tasks: 1st - Stabilization, strengthening and expansion of the team; 2nd - consolidation of all the group companies and our team should be the go-to place for all the communications/performance management between them and HQ and be able to serve them all by taking advantage of all the resources.
- One on one meeting scheduled next week to discuss each team member's development path.
