一、忙
Taylor sweated blood to prepare for 11-11 event.
sweat blood，忙于做某事，还可以用sweat over sth. I am still sweating over my paper. 我还在拼命地写论文。
The company is hive of activity/industry with everyone buzzing around.
hive of activity，形容某个地方发生了很多事情，每个人都很忙。
hive，蜂房、蜂箱、蜂群的意思。
hive off 拆分、卖掉（生意的一部分），The IT department of my company is hived off into Alibaba. 阿里巴巴收购了我公司的IT部门。
It's a race against time to win success.
a race against time,跟时间赛跑，一般都是因为有个截止时间有个deadline。
All of engineers and salespersons beavered away every day.
beaver away，工作很卖力，很勤劳。注意这里beaver是个动词。beaver名词的意思是河狸。
勤劳的人，大忙人，busy beaver，类似的有busy bee（繁忙的小蜜蜂，这个英语短语现在有点老式过时）
There are 3000 people coming to our store,so it's all hands on deck.
all hands on deck,指每个人都准备帮忙或者必须帮忙，特别是需要在一个短时间内做大量的工作。
deck，船甲板，所有的人齐刷刷站在甲板上，是不是有点临危受命的意思呢？
英语短语可以先直译，想想短语的来源，会记得更牢固、运用得更准确。
Tom is exhausted. He've been rushed off his feet all day to deliver goods.
rush off one's feet. 工作特别忙，甚至还要到处跑。注意一般用sb. be rushed off one's feet. 或者sth rush off one's feet.
Taylor earned a bonus because she worked her fingers to the bone.
work one's fingers to the bone,手指都摁进骨头了，那不是往死了地拼命吗？
Taylor used the money to rent a new big living room. Things are looking up for her.
things are looking up=things are improving，状况正在改善，事情有所转机。当某事有所好转或者取得一些成果进步， 就可以用这个短语，比如经济有所回暖，就可以这样说Things are looking up with the economy.
我的英语有所进步，Things are looking up with my english.
二、on
这餐饭算我的／我请客。
The dinner is on me. / The dinner is my treat.
也可以直接了当地说：On me／My treat。
treat sb. to sth. 请某人什么东西，这个一般用问句，用陈述句有点财大气粗的感觉：
Could I treat you to a dinner? 我能请你吃顿饭吗？
不要想在我身上赚钱。
Don’t dream of making money on me.
当你不忙的时候，给你妈打个电话。
Give a call to your mom when you are not on the go.
“on the go”，表示“在忙碌中，在四处奔波中”。
她买了一台新车，然后嘚瑟个没完。
She bought a new car and talked about it on and on.
on and on，表示“没完没了，不停地”的意思
放学后，有没有人想去KTV?
Is anyone on for the KTV after school？
be on for sth.=want to do sth. 想做什么事情
三、see
有跟谁交往吗?
Are you seeing anyone？
see sb.一般用进行时。
小明送老奶奶过马路。
Xiaoming saw the old lady across the road.
这里的see的意思大致等同于help。
初次见面后，感觉对方还不错，想护送女孩回家：May I see you home?
昨晚北京下了一场大雨。
Last night saw a heavy/hard rain in Beijing
这里see表示“见证、发生”的意思。
难道你不明白他在欺骗你？
Can’t see he is cheating on you?
这里的see和“oh, I see“ 中的see意思是一样的，表”明白，懂得“。
注意：此处的cheat on sb. 一般表示“对……不忠”。
灯太黑， 我读书看不见。

此处的see作为不及物动词，表示”(视力)”看见，一般是see to do sth. ；
