Do you know any tradition that is still popular but in fact does not make any sense?
I believe there must be numerous traditons which should be abandoned or changed.In my hometown ,when people get married, a lot of friends ,relatives and colleagues are invited to attend the wedding.As a result, the hosts are exhausted before, during and after the wedding.The hosts don't have time to enjoy the special day or creat more meaningful and happy memories on the wedding day because they are occupied in arranging meals ,entertainment activities and a lot of etiquettes.For some guests, it's a formality to attend a wedding with cash gift.If some guestes are not available ,they will ask others to bring cash gift to the hosts or even transfer a certain amount of money to the bridegroom or bride by Alipay or Wechat payment.Being invited to a wedding means paying a high price for meals at a strange place.It's in violation of a wonderful wedding event which is supposed to be relaxing,enjoyable,and impressive.
I think we should break the traditional pattern of a wedding.When holding a wedding ,only important persons should be invited. And all people in the wedding should get involved and be guaranteed a good time.
