Today, I want to say something about my favorite book. As a forty-two-year-old man I have approximately read hundreds of books. Most of them are Chinese books and some of them are English books, but if I were asked which one is my favorite, I would say it without any hesitation. I have known the answer for many years. And I strongly doubt that I would change the answer. Why can I say that? Because that literature is really really great. The author of that literature is a famous writter in China, Lu Yao. Yes, I guess when you heard the name and if you knew his name, you must have known the answer, the Ordinary World.

The book's category is a fiction or a novel. It describes a small village, Shuangshui, in Shaanxi province. And it tells the stories happened there in about ten years from 1970s to 1980s.The protagonist of the book, Sun Shaoping, grew up in a very poor family, and there are many difficulties in his life, but he never gives up his hope to live meaningful. The most impressive plot of the book is the death of Sun's lover.Every time I read that, I can't help crying, really. At the first time I read it, I even hated the author. Why does he write this? Why does he make me so heartbreaking. But later I know that the author is telling us that the life is probably much harder than we imagine, but we should never lose the hope. Actually, the author describes many people and many stories in the book.Through those stories, we can feel that the author want to tell the readers that the hope exists forever.

I have read that book for not only one time, maybe five or more. I just read it about one year ago. I can get the passion and the strength from the book. So every time when I feel down, frustrated or upset, I will remind me the spirit of the book. That will make me regain the power and the optimistic attitude to face the difficulty and hardness in my life.
