Today we are living in a technology age, and we tend to express almost every thought that passes through our mind without deep consideration about the consequences that might arise for ourselves and others. When we act in such a manner, without knowing it, we might alienate others who especially care for us wholeheartedly. With every action, there is an outcome, and simply acting for our own satisfaction, can have consequences that we will later deeply regret.
Therefore, even when silence might not be the best act, by being more reserved we will at least not feel upset at the end of the day. And as a result, we will also not unknowingly hurt our loved ones and friends purely by our comments. Unless it is really necessary to say, or if we are able to make things better for all, we should let things be. Letting things go will save us from lots of troubles in the future.
