DAY ONE(Chapter 1)
Q1 What happened to Aibileen’s adult son and how did Aibileen cope with the tragedy?
Aibileen's adult son has died in a car accident when he was working at the Scanlon-Taylor mill.He was too tired that he slip off the loading dock, fell down on the drive.For Aibileen,it's hard to accept that his son has died.she was so proud of him,he was 24-years-old,the best part of his life,and he would marry a girl within a short time,and he would have a better life than she does.he was everything to Aibileen,so when she heard the news that his son has died,which was really a shot.She felt the world went black,everything was black.However,she has no one to blame,no one to tell to,so she just want to stay in bed and do nothing.

Miss leefolt was not as rich as other people,she lived in a small house with only two bathrooms,so she tries to keep in contact with them in this way to pretend she was important to the league members.
DAY TWO (Chapter2)
Q1 Why did the writer make Aibileen comment on sprawling white neighborhoods like Woodland Hills and Sherwood Forest? (Page11-12)
These places are somewhere the white people ready to move to,and they belonged to the whites though there wasn't anybody live there.
Q2 Why did Aibileen wish it had not been herself saying the words when she told the worker to ‘make water’ in the bushes at back of the house? (Page20)]
They were both colored people,but she couldn't let him in and get the water in a white's house,which could against the rules of Miss Leefolt.She had to say these words to avoid getting punished by the whites even though she knew this could hurt him,so she felt ashamed of doing so.
Q3 How did Minny lose her 19th job and why was she not able to find another one afterwards?
She was fired after Miss Hilly sent her mother to the nursing home.Miss Hilly hated Minny so she just spread the rumors around that MINNY had steal her silver candleabra from her mother,So nobody would employ a maid like she is .
DAY THREE (Chapter 3-4)
Q1 How does Minny find her job at Miss Celia’s house?
After Aibileen got a call from Miss Celia who told her that she was looking for a help,Albileen recommended Minny to her and give her Minny's number secretly.
Q2 Why does Minny accept the peaches Miss Celia offers?
Minny tried to tell people she wasn't fired and she didn't steal that kind of silver thing,and Miss Celia looked like she needed help from Minny,which made Minny delighted for what she deserved.
DAY FOUR (Chapter 5-6)
1. Why is there much tension in Skeeter’s relationship with her mother?
Skeeter was not a traditional girl as her mother thought.Her mother wanted her to be a normal girl like other girls do,dating with boys,finding someone,getting a good job.However,Skeeter has her own ideas,she wanted to be a reporter and tried to do something different,which made her mother always upset and confused.
2. Who is Constantine?
Constantine was Skeeter's maid who raise her up,taught her many things,took her to her dirf to meet other colored people.Constantine encouraged her when she got hurt.
DAY FIVE (Chapter 7)
Q1 Why does Skeeter show up at Aibileen’s house?
Skeeter was going to write a book on what's like to be a maid in Jackson,she tried to convince Aibileen she wouldn't tell Miss Leefolt or anybody else，she needed help from Aibileen and other maids like her.She promised it would be a secret between them,and she really wanted to show her sincerity.
DAY SIX (Chapter 8)
Q1 Why does Skeeter approach Aibileen for an interview and how does Aibileen react to the request?
Skeeter wanted help from Aibileen to her book.At first,Aibileen refused to be interviewed,cause she thought she would irritate Miss Leefolt for she talked back about her.
