I felt very excited to join the offline meeting after almost 1 month on-line. I missed the pressure when I read from the audience eyes alive. To challenge myself the most, i booked myself the roles as prepared speaker in DATMC and Toastmaster in XHTMC. It felt awsome.

To Adah,

The story has much potential. The belief in kid education and the way Adah learnt English is very impressive.Better to space the progress of prepared speech if agenda is too tight. Enough time for speech draft and polish would advance the delivery. Besides, the strutral thinking could also be considered as a point to develop.

To Leon,

The ability to explore the message is a shining point in Leon's speech. Still now, the picture of grassland described in Leon's speech could be captured in mind clearly. Great. More content development as the ending to echo the philosophy related beginning could build the ending as strong as the beginning. Also, the better controlled body movement on stage and avoid leaving the audience feel talking while thinking.

To Molly,

One more twist after the struggle with mom could build more attraction. Also, the title is of some cultural confusion. Alert on the prounciation of "alone" and "breakfast".

Pannel Discussion on the Meeting

Before the meeting start, check the role takers in postion and better start the meeting on time.

As the only advance toastmaster and the only one which organize regular meeting in every Sturday morning, DATMC deserves a special tailored opening which show the uniquess of DATMC and DATANGers.

Hote water is very important for Chinese.

Guests feedback section is very important and highly valualed. To make guests feel at home, a sincere welcome and atomasphere to talk freely is of great importantce. If the guest is interested, introduce the VPM.

Back-up questions is advised to inroduced for TTM for the cases of more time balance.

Besides, the great feedback skills could be carried away.

Young, passionate people, well-organized and of high value meeting, those were how i felt after the meeting. I saw the potention from Prin, the hot love from Joy, the strong will from Sky, the touching moments among David, Diana, Arya, the action to move ahead from Oliver......

Best i would try to share my observation and feedback as following.

To Gabby,

A great beginning for a facilitator report. The trying to analysie the common reasons and useful solutions mean to me the willing to do the job differently. Apply the time mangement concept and attention on the stage stance may advance the performance.

To Joy,

Very productive GE report. Can't agree more that the GE role is challenging. Try to spot the hilights and control the overall rhythm. Let's see the how it will feel next time.

To  Arya,

Nice try about "3S" which is very memorable. More convinecing eye contact in the second half of the evulation was a progress to me. I believe you can do better.

To Prin,

The vocal power in the speech really impressed me. The rap style and powerful stange stance made the speech delicious. I wandered wheather a slow down rhythm and more visualized story telling could turn out be the challenges?   

To myself,

Check the agenda and catch up the lately updates is very important before the meeting start. Here special thanks to Sky for updates me the change. The 5 mins beginning was too long for me since the president already did the opening, it was to start the meeting directly in my eyes for the role as toastmaster. Fire rapid suggestion for the prepared speakers one by one worked for me as TM very well. If i try next time, i would try 1) to control better for the Q/A section especially the time control and rule introduction; 2) to greets more with guests and introduce them to the conversations during coffee break.
