The fixation on the positive---on what's better, what's superior---only serves to remind us over and over again of what we are not, of what we lack, of what we should have been but failed to be. It's just like somewhat vicious circle. Negative experiences bring out negative feelings, vice verse. We would fall into the vortex of negative emotion if we gave fuck about more trivial and unimportant things.

Giving a fuck maybe means that one should know himself clearly first, know the merits and demerits of himself. Second, don't try to do things what others want you do, but things what you are really like. Just be youself.

It needs a lifetime to practice and experience. Actually, there are many unexpected gifts or hardship in our life, which bombard with roses and brambles. Those who overly pursue comfortable and happy situation would be likely to cannot accept the truth and failures. So this is a sickness.

1. cripples
That anxiety cripples you and you start wondering why you're so anxious.
cripple,做n.意为“瘸子”是最常见的用法，而做v.时，一方面是指make sb cripple,另一方面是做比喻用法，damage or weaken (sth) seriously, 试想如果把某个东西或某事“搞瘸”了，那一定是收到了很严重的损伤。相近意思的还有paralyze,残奥会Paralympic Games.

哲学经典三问：我是谁？我从哪里来？我到哪里去？其中“我是谁？”是核心问题，是基础，这既要求我们对自己的的生活环境，家庭背景有所了解，更重要的是认清真正的自己，你真的了解自己吗？想想看能列出多少条自己的优缺点。
昨天看完蒋勋先生的《品味四讲》，写了篇《放得下，才能拿得起》，感觉和今天的读书内容有很多契合点。人的本性是贪婪的，有无止境的欲望和追求，可有时候就是这样，你越想要，就越得不到。因为在这个过程中，你已经忘记了自己是为什么想要得到他？是纯粹的喜欢，是想证明自己，还是让别人羡慕？这就是不忘初心，你在追求一个东西的过程中还能保持多少纯真的心呢？而我们有时候想要的太多，既不懂得取舍，也不愿去取舍，因为感觉哪个都舍不掉，可是，别忘了，先空后满，如果还没开始行动，就太满了，那还怎么往里装东西。
最近在练语音，会把练习过程录下来回听，每次回听的时候都觉得恶心到极致，这种事情坚持下去真的很难，因为你要面对很糟糕的自己，可是，这是基石，只有面对，只有改正，才会进取。
