越窑是中国古代最著名的青瓷窑系。东汉时，中国最早的瓷器在越窑的龙窑里烧制成功，因此，越窑青瓷被称为“母亲瓷”。越窑持续烧制了1000多年，于北宋末、南宋初停烧，是中国持续时间最长、影响范围最广的窑系。越窑青瓷历史悠久、影响深远，倍受人们的赞赏和青睐，是汉族传统制瓷工艺的珍品之一。越瓷的特点是胎骨较薄，施釉均匀，釉色青翠莹润，光彩照人。越瓷不但是供奉朝廷的贡品之一，而且又是唐代的一种重要的贸易陶瓷。同时与唐代精美工艺品和文苑艺术交相辉映，在工艺美术领域里开创了一个新的世界。

     《越窑青釉刻花双条瓶》   高23厘米，口径4.5厘米，底径7厘米。此瓶刻花工艺形似“莲花座”，佛教气息浓郁。其呈十花瓣口，仿若鲜花盛开之姿，正应佛教“花开见佛性”之说。其瓣数亦有讲究，融中国数字之理，以“十”寓圆满之意。其釉色青绿，如“嫩荷涵露”、“古镜破苔”，更显圣洁莹润之感。此花瓣形乃唐代独创，并因其圣洁韵致，流行至明清时期。其存世量及其稀少，多年来一直是诸多古玩收藏爱好者争先收藏的精品瓷器之一。
