I was lucky enough to travel to Iowa and to the roseman bridge, which was built in 1883 as a wooden bridge by local farmers. It is famous in the world together with five other old Bridges in Madison county. Roseman bridge was written into the novel by Robert James Waller in 1992 and became popular in the film the Bridges of Madison county.
