Great news. I’m back and ready.
First of all, Happy New Year to each one of you. Wish you luck in the year of 2018.
It’s been a long time since we last met, I know. But the missing child is always able to find his way back, because mom is waiting for him at home, which is what home means to people all the time.
Getting lost can happen to anyone at any time. It’s a little scary, but not fatal. We are connected with the world in many ways. In modern times, all kinds of nodes are framed into one, and spread around at the same time, which is what friends mean to people, as always.
If you lose your way next time, don’t panic. You will be fine. Everything is going to be fine. You can always find your way back in a certain way.
What did the year of 2017 meant to me? One of my friends asked me this question days ago, and I said, “Pretty glad that I’m still alive.”
It sounds a little odd, but it’s true. I can’t express how I feel. Words fail me sometimes. However, standing at the end of the old and the beginning of the new, I’m pretty happy that I managed to survive the crisis in 2017.
I’m still who I am, the sort of people who can always keep his head above water when the river is flooding. The only word I can think of at the moment is “resilience”. It’s like when the ball is flattened, it will be inflated itself soon.
Maybe not that soon, it needs a period of time. Short or long, it depends. But I believe things will be back to normal first, and then better. This is what the year of 2017 means to me. Lose a few; win a few. This is what we call “Life”.
I know when things become rough, people are going to tell you that you should be positive and try to be happy. Well, but I tend to tell myself that I let things be and time can heal everything. So, I have been waiting, waiting for the right moment to come.
Now, the moment has come. Hello, the year of 2018.
One more thing, there are many thanks that I would like to express to the following people. These guys are important to me. Note that the list is not based on any order.
Jerry, Senior Joe, Snow, Bobo, Jack, Mr. Cat …
Tianming, Double Young, Amy, Ziyi, Little Sun, Celery, Rocky, Mao, Dan, Yellow Star …
There are still many others. Sorry that I can’t put all of you here, but the same gratitude in my heart.
