Cogito Ergo Sum

Of his first ponder
Of his first ponder, and the doubt
In that wonderful mind, whose nobal task
Brought wisdom into the world, and the light
Disperses the shadow of blind, and our woe,
With loss of the certain. Still a greater way
Enlighten us, and a guaidance to what is right.
The past, that constantly conjunt,
In the light of his doubt, must be reject,
And the reson, of indistinct gloom,
Cogito Ergo Sum? the great path to doom.
Fellow the wonderful claim, and use custom.
Praise to the great Hume, and the wisdom he brough forth
No superstitious belief, no ungrounded faith.
