People tend to say we are supposed to do the right things at the right age. However, there are no certain rules giving a specific standard or description, which can be taken as a guide book. I suppose it is because no one else but only we ourselves can be in charge of our own lives.
A couple of days ago, I got in contact with Jiaxing, one of my favourite cousins. He is attending a famous university located in Hunan and majoring in Finance. I am happy that he is enjoying what he is doing now, although it took him over three years to recognise what he was really into and finally made the decision to retake the Gaokao. To be honest, I felt very sorry for the time he lost as the time in one’s youth is so priceless and is gone with the wind. On the other hand, I also realise that there is nothing better than following one’s heart and being honest with oneself. So good luck to my beloved Jiaxing! I am proud of you and always behind you!
