I am walking on the field , only by my self . The starts in the sky seem as if they are blinking , the cold wind takes away my excess heat . The sound of an owl come from the north , or maybe the south . I believe I'm so hungry I'm going to die . My stomach is so empty , it's rumbling . I only feel helplessness .
Far away , about three or four anelope stand there eating grass . As a bloodthirsty cheetah , I start thinking it's boring to chase antelope around , but if I don't my food problems will never be solved . I'm getting more and more hungry each day . There seems to be less antelopes than before .
I'm still a cheetah , to be a cheetah , I only can eat meat , because we are carnivorous animals , we don't digest green plants .
I lay down on the ground , maybe this is the last time to catch an antelope , it's only way for me to be alive .
I crawl closer to the antelope , they looked up as if they seem to know someone will kill them in the next few seconds .
My legs are tight , ready to shoot off from the ground .Then some strange thing happened , it's louder than the lightining hitting a tree , it repeats three times .
I have a clear view of the antelope , the one closese to me , suddently a big hole appeared in his head , the blood sprayed everywhere , some even landed on my face , the blood is still warm . The other antelope ran away .
"I got one ! I got one !" A sound from far away , how is it possible that antelope can talk like this ?
"Five o'clock! A target ! Oh my gosh ! It's a cheetah !"
"Reload the gun , faster !"
I stand up quickly , I see two animals only use there back legs to stand on the ground .
"It's running away !" 'only two feet animals ' shouts again . It's must be a human !
I turn around and I start to run , my long legs reaching their fastest speed that I can achieve . Than I heard that sound again ! The lightining sound , but it's louder than before . Something just passed through my ear ! I'm scared .
I keep running until there is a forest in front of me , I run into it , I konw I'm not suppoused to run into a unknown forest that is not in my territory .
I sit down , my heart is pounding very fast . I watch out for the humans , thay are smart , thay might come from ever where to kill me .
Even though I have my own territory , I am not charge of this place , now I only feel week , maybe my even just like the antelope that just die ten minutes ago .
The time goes by really fast , I start to feel hungry , this feeling is killing and torturing me . I check one more time that there are no more humans . If I don't start to fin dinner right now , toninght will be hard to get past . I'm also too far from cave .
I passed some woods and I smelled something interesting . It's blood , It's rabbit blood ! Why am I so sure ? Because I have the most sensitive nose . The rabit must be very close to me .
It didn't take too long to find the rabbit , the rabit it's under a tree .
The rabbit is already dead , but the weired thing is that the rabbit to seems have died just a short time ago , the meat if fresh enough to eat .
I walk straight to the dead rabbit , I never thought it was a trap , I put one foot into the brush , to try and grab the rabbit out of it , my paw didn't feel the lovely soft rabbit fur , but instead I felt an iron material . Then loud sound come from the bush ! I tried to pull my foot back , but I was too late . The streak of pain that came from my foot ripped through my whole body . I pulled my foot out of the bush , but the thing that is "biting" my foot is like a big mouth , and has sharpen iron teeth . Everytime I tried to pull my leg out , I found it meaningless , it only let's the iron teeth sink much deeper than before , and also became more painful . So I stoppted try to pull out my leg .
The next three hours , I spend it in pain . My bloood is bleeding out . I feel dizzy , maybe it's because I am loseing too much blood . It's colder than before , I never felt this king of cold , might I die ?
I want too sleep , I close my eyes ,The pain is getting smaller and smaller ......
I don't know how long it's been , I heard a soft sound , just like the far of rabbit .Wait ! It's a human's voice , I open my eyes , I'm not in the forest anymore . I'm in big iron case . However the most important thing is that I see a big human being sitting right infront of me , I'm scared , I did my best to move my legs , but my kick wasn't working .
"Oh , he woke up , Mark ! " The girl says softly .
"Thanks goodness ! " Mark says while driving the car .
"Don't worry big cat ! Relax . Just some anesthesia , it will help the pain . " The girl says while she pats my head softly .
I don't really know what they are actually talking about , but I feel secure . I'm too tired , so I close my eyes ......
What is the identity of the people in the car ,They are animals protectors from the A.P.B , the Animals Protection Base . The girl is Mark's only daughter Sarah . They found the cheetah fainted on the ground and rescued it .
This cheetah's life will have a great new beginning in the future !
