It has been several weeks since I came back from Macau. This was the second time that I had been there. Happily my impression of Macau hasn't been changed. Macau is still a place full of energy, vitality and surprise.
After a fifty-minute flight, we safely arrived at Macau International Airport which locates in a small man-made island. Macau is rather small with large part of its territory made by land reclamation from the sea, which is a common way of enlagring area for many seaside cities.
First claiming our luggage and then taking the shuttle we finally arrived at our first stop - the Wynn Palace. Seen from our shuttle on the opposite street, the hotel is really like a palace with its outer light effect and music fountain in the performance lake. We were only too delighted to have booked such a nice place to live in. When we stepped into it we all excited by the decocrations and everything we saw. On entering the lobby we were surrounded by plenty of flowers and frangrance. After I check in with our HK and Macau Pass quickly, we merrily settled down. Let's take a look at this gorgous hotel.
Large-scale floral sculpture bloom throught Wynn Palace, designed by world-renowned designer. My daught loves this fantastic floral merry-go-round very much, especially the flying horse with wings.

Glancing through the beautiful room, we had to find something to fill our tummy. We brought a package of noodle hoping to find a restaurant where our noodles could be served for the kid. Rejected by the first one, we found another one wishing to get a satisfactory response. But we were refused politely again, they were not allowed to cook food outside. It was 9pm that night, we didn't want to look for a third one so we were seated in "hong" restaurant which is a michelin two stars restaurant of Japanese food. Accustomed by Haikou's fresh seafood already, I didn't think it deserves that name, maybe I'm not a good judge.
There are also many luxury stores of clothes, watch, jewelry. We just window shopped some of them, for those were beyond our wish and plan.
The first day was ended with a comfortable shower and TV series. See you tomorrow Macau.
