The University of the Toronto is a public research university in Toronto,Ontario,Canada on the grounds that surround Queen's Park.It is the first higher institution of higher learning.It was founded by Royal charter in 1827.It comprises 12 colleges which differ in character and history ,each with substantial attornomy on financial and institutional affairs. It has two satellite campuses in Scarborough and Mississauga. It ranks the 22nd out of the world's universities.
