On our way to find the Yasmin Ahmad museum I noticed a sign advertising the Wuyi Egg tea and the picture looked similar to the Vietnamese coffees with the raw egg yolk in it. Asked M if he had ever tried it, and he was like naaah. Never heard of it. So upon discovering that the museum was only open on weekends (today was a Friday) decided to tail back and try it.
To me it tasted like the black herbal tea drink that my mother would make, but this was like a super sweetened version with a hard-boiled egg. To him it tasted like black tea with sugar.
Would I ever have it again?
Yes... Minus the egg and with less sugar.
