This is my second time to meet Talis and to listen his workshop. The first time was in a special day. Why do I say it? As that day was the 110th birthday of our company, the big boss and lots of the top managers came to SZ office in that morning. All employees watch the lion dance and celebrate her birthday together. What worth more to joy is that Talis has been invited from Hong Kong to our Learn & Fun toastmaster club to run a workshop about humorous at noon that day.
Talis Wong, he is a DTM and the Champion of Humorous Speech. Also he is the Certificated Global NLP Trainer, Certificated Hypnotherapist. However, he didn’t talk about anything about humorous or hypnosis today. He shared more about advanced dating tips. What do you think about the dating tips? How about Advanced Dating Tips? Firstly, Talis analyzed what advanced dating tips are. He didn’t tell us the answer directly. On the contrary, he used the reverse thinking way to share it with us.
There are four buying obstacles. Why does Talis use buying obstacles? Maybe you are confused. No matter when we are dating with a friend or partner, actually, we are doing the business. I am preferred to think like this.
If one girl has no trust in you, will you have a second time to make a dating with her? Of course, it’s impossible. If your customers have no trust in you, can you develop the business relationship with them? Also there is no way. If we want to have a good business relationship with others, the first step is doing something to make us be trusted. Build trust and make ourselves be likeable. How to build trust?
Be a flower. Why does he suggest us to be a flower? Try to image you see a beautiful flower now. What do you feel? Are you pleasant? Most of us will have a pleasant mood when we see a beautiful flower. So it is the same to see a beautiful lady or handsome man or professional business man or woman. Then, be attentive and sensitive and try to be them.
You can’t wake a person who is pretending to be asleep. As he has no need. When one beautiful lady just wants to stay alone, any handsome boy will be ignored. Likewise, customer will never pay for something, which is beyond of their needs. Discover needs and want creation can help us to move this obstacle. What do your targets need?
Respect is necessary. Love and care can help them to feel more safely.
Image you meet one beautiful lady if you are a man, (Image you meet a handsome man if you are a lady) she or he is in trouble, and you want to do something to help. But you just have no idea what you should do. When your customer want to buy a Canadian ancient HO style train, but you just can’t find the supplier to do the production. This is another buying obstacle. You have no idea how to help.When you find it is very difficult to help, what should you do is trying your best to find the solutions and offer them. No matter they are accepted or not in the last, you have offered the solutions at least. But what can you give when you cannot find the good solution?
Show your respect. Express your love and care for her. Keep her feel safety.
When you made a date with a beautiful lady one day, after that time, you have no idea why you cannot make a date with her any more. When factory got one order from one customer last year, but there is no any order can be placed this year. Do you know why? As there is no satisfaction
Providing supporting after sales service. When you went back home after dating. You could send the message or give a call in the same day or next day. After the customer receives the goods, you can send one email to them to care about the sales of the goods.

You are being a positive. Inversely, if I feel you are a bad one, then you are a negative person. And you are being a negative in my mind. It’s depended on our mind that what kind of one person is. But our mind is depended on the eyes that what we are thinking.
Therefore, the first key to be likeability is showing your happiness when you meet someone. Remember it that let others see your happiness. Then keep curious. You can ask and talk about the things you want to get knowledge. And when she replies, please listen attentively. Then she will feel you are a listener and you can understand her needs. Most importantly, you should be matching with her. We are equal, yet we are all unique.
