In the last class, we knew the brief frame of ‘Who Moved My Cheese’and features of four leading character in this book. During the class, I found that‘change’ was repeatedly mentioned and I inferred it would be a key element that runs through whole passage. With a sum of merits mentioned in ‘the story behind the story’, I am looking forward to reading the Part Ⅱ of ‘Who Moved My Cheese’ .
The story began with a gathering inChicago, several former classmates attending their high school. After graduating from high school , they all made their own choice and had gone off in different directions, however , they share similar feelings in common.
They usually don't know how to cope with unexpected changes, what’s more, without adapting to such changes only lead to fairness. In such a moment, Michel shared his experience about ‘changes’ under the influence of ‘Who Moved My Cheese’, attracting attention of all people here.
In the coral of this story, the mice and the little people spent time in the maze looking for their own special cheese. Sniff and Scurry with good instincts preferred to hard-nibbling cheese, nevertheless, Hem and Haw search for a extraordinary cheese-with a Capital C.
As different as the mice and little people were, every morning, they each put on their equipment and reached out into the maze looking for cheese.
Although the maze was complex and full of pitfalls, two mice used the simple ,trial-and-error method of finding cheese. However, two little people relied on their more sophisticated methods of finding cheese.
Eventually in their own way, they all discovered what they want and were accustomed to following the same route.
