二 summary&thoughts
今天的内容一开始通过一些实验说明:EQ高人的只会在开始学习的阶段更容易,但随着年龄的增长,进入成年期,EQ对成才所起的作用很小。从而说明刻意练习的重要性
今天令我有感触的是最后一部分:相信天生才华的危险
人们觉得那个孩子是音盲,那他绝不会去学习演奏乐器或者学唱歌;
人们觉得那个孩子不擅长数学,那他就不会对数学感兴趣。
等他们长大以后,他们也就相信了自己的确学不好。人们先入为主的判断,会影响人的行为,以至于这人判断最后真的实现。
当然,当孩子从老师、父母那时得到了更多的支持和鼓励时,能够增强孩子学习的信心,能够更快的提升他们的能力,这是积极的自我实现。
过度相信天生才华,往往使人们假设有些人生来就具有某方面的天赋,而另一些则不具备。
在我看来,拥有这样的想法,危害大致可以分为两个方面:助长“有天赋”的那些人的惰性,打击“没有天赋”的那些人的信心。
