Book 12
Sense and Sensibility
two set violin 的名言 “you cant fake solo!

gaiety was never part of my character
⭐you would be a happier man if you had any profession to engage your time and give an interest to your plans and actions. would not be able to give them so much of your time but you would know when to go when you left them.
but remember that the pain of parting from friends will be felt by everybody at times, whatever be their education on states, know your own happiness you mother will secure to you in time, that independent you are so anxious for, how much may not a few months to argument and fix her sorrow by seeking silence, solitude and idleness.

it is quite grievous to see her look so ill and forlorn.
I must beg that you will not deceive yourself any longer
my affections have been long engaged elsewhere
think of what you would have suffered if the discovery of this character had been delayed to a later period
i was once as dear to him as my own soul could wish
by seeing how nobly the consciousness of your own innocence and good intentions supports your spirits
He is not the only young man in the world worth having
there seems a hardness of heart about him
a determined silence when obligate to endure it.
too great importance placed by her on the delicacies of a strong sensibility. M expected from other people the same opinions and feelings as her own, and she judged of their motive by the immediate effect of their actions on herself
acuteness of disappointment with followed such an ecstasy of more than hope, she felt as if till that instant she had never felt

Kind of cold-hearted selfishness on both sides which mutually attracted them.
appeared nothing more than a little proud-looking woman of uncordial address
all exultation on being so honorably distinguished
I nearly believe he has the most delicate conscience in the world
most incapable of being selfish
had curiosity enough to desire
One's happiness depending entirely on any particular person, it is not mean it is not fit. it is not possible that it should be so

Her heart was not sorry that she could like him no more
languid indolence and selfish repining now at work

so wonderful and sudden a perplexity which they had no means of lessening but their own conjectures.
She was everything by turns by the tranquil delight of each observing friend. M could never love by halves, and her whole heart became in times. as much devoted to her husband as it had once been to Will.
Instead of falling a sacrifice to an irresistible passion, as once she had fondly flattery herself with expecting.
released from his former engagement to address herself and declared an affection as tender, as constant she had ever supposed it to be. she was overcome by her own fecility.
