作者在《幸福的方法》一书中提出了两种学习动机模式，溺水模式与性爱模式。溺水模式有从痛苦中解脱的强烈愿望。而性爱模式，让学习本身成为一件快乐的事情。让学生完全沉浸于学习的快乐中，拥有心流体验。
In the book The Way to Happiness, it is mentioned that there are two types of modes of learning. And the other is sex mode in which the learners enjoy learning so much and sometimes they achieve incredible pleasure of learning like orgasms in sex.
而拥有清晰的目标是心流体验的前提。拥有心流体验的学生往往拥有强烈的求知欲望，以及非常清晰的学习目标。出现心流体验的另一个条件是，所进行的学习任务不能难度太大，也不能难度太低，难度太大，而技能不足时我们会感到焦虑，相反如果技能高，而任务太简单时，我们会感到乏味，只有当难度和技能匹配时，性能体验才有可能出现。

The best educators should be those who can help the students to learn or to progress both mentally and academically. It is the responsibility of educators to help the students to fulfill their highest potential and achieve this happy moments in learning by igniting their passion for learning for their whole lives and by making the learning journey as enjoyable as possible.
