尝试着跟着自己所学的英语小组阅读原版的《Animal Farm》,说好的每天读十夜,一个月读完。结果硬生生的读了一个半月,对于书以及参加的活动有新的想法,记录下来与你分享。
一,关于《Animal Farm》
a.作者
这本书的作者是George Orwell,是著名的《1984》的作者,著名的小说家,记者,评论家。他是一个极其关注人民的左翼共产主义支持者,同情人民极度反对共产主义中的极权主义。代表作《Animal Farm》以及《1984》.
b.故事梗概
这本书说的是在一个庄园里,动物们受到老猪Major的感召,动员起来推倒人类的统治渴望建立一个属于自己的王国。最后在暴动以后Major的继承者们snow ball以及Napoleon的争夺控制权,Napoleon赢得绝对的权利以后对于老Major制定的法规一一推翻最后建立新的特权阶级,动物们的生活过得比没推翻人类统治前还惨淡的生活。
二,关于读完书以后的背景以及收获:
背景:
书的背景是在映射苏联从列宁的二月革命到斯大林独裁统治的极权主义建立过程。我从书里看到了绝对的权利必然导致绝对的弊端,感受到作者对于共产主义中极权的批判。
其中老Major就像伟大的先知列宁,而歌曲以及法令分别对应着国际歌以及共产主义章程。
boxer指代工人,Benjamin指代知识分子,Napoleon指代斯大林,其他的动物则是人民。
收获:
在任何的时代里一定要学会认清现实,学会独立思考,否则很容易成为人云亦云的动物。而人云亦云的动物最大的悲剧是永远看不清楚现实。
不要做boxer一味的顺从自己被卖了还在说Napoleon i s always.right.
生活中的主动权从来都是自己掌握的,即便聪明如Benjamin什么都看的通透,自保也并不能全身而退。在那样的时代里即便是做下一个snow ball也比单独的待在那里看清不作为强。
即便最后的斗争中是snow.ball获胜,动物们的结局应该也是一样的,依靠依赖做伸手党从来不会有好结果的。
三,关于这次活动
参加的小组的原版书阅读,应该庆幸的是即便是落后还是把书读完了,即便是拖拉。但在这个过程中很多的背景知识很多的关联都忘了,很多的细节是为了写这篇文章才去做的补充。
就自己的行动而言,还是应该找寻几个一起共同学习的伙伴即便拖拖拉拉最后做完以后还是收获巨大的。
在个人的执行力上想办法进一步的做一个提升,尝试着和更多的小伙伴一起成长。
英语学习上需要投入很多的精力不是一撮而就的,但就持续的投入来看,长期的效果巨大。我自己还需要投入更多的时间和精力。
