Children who play truant from school are unimaginative .A quiet day 's fishing or eight hours in the cinema seeing the same film over and over again,is usually as far as they get.They have never all been put to shame by a boy who,while playing truant,traveled 1600 miles.As the boy hitchhiked to Dover ,towards evening,he went into a boat to find somewhere to sleep.when the boy woke up next morning,he discovered the boat had,in meantime,traveled to calics.No one notice d the boy crept off.From there, The boy hitchhiked to Paris in a lorry. The driver gave him a few biscuits and a cup of coffee and left him just outside the city. the next car didn't take him into the center of Paris as he hoped it would.But to Papignan,on the Paris-Spanish border.There the boy was picked out by a policeman and sent back to England by the local authorities. The boy surely has set up a record for the thousands of children who dream of evading school.
