Today, mainly concentrate on a speech named 'How to get better at the things you care about' by Eduardo Briceno and study making ppt. The following is my experience.
1.Read and listen more paragraphs as you can.
About the speech, now I can recite two paragraphs.
Most of us go through life trying to do our best at whatever we do, whether it's our job, family, school or anything else. I feel that way. I try my best. But some time ago, I came to a realization that I wasn't getting much better I cared most about, whether it was being a husband or a friend or a professional or teammate, and I wasn't improving much at those things even though I was spending a lot of time working hard at them. I've since realized from conversations I've had and from research that this stagation, despite hard work, turns out to be pretty common.
So I''d like to share with you some insights into why it is and what we can all do about it. What I've learned is that the most effective people or teams in any domain do something we can all emulate. They go through life deliberately alternating between two zones: the learning zone and the performance zone.
After I can recte the two paragraphs expertly, there is a kind of confident emotion rising up from my inner heart. And it seems to have gone back to teenagers, which makes me warmed.
2.Summary for making PPT
From http://www.yanj.cn/, download three free templates. I read buyigongzi's article by chance and decide to study how to make ppt by myself. Here is my first achievement.
I choose ' annual summary template' as the initial studying material, because my major is enviromental engeering with a lot of chances to report relevant contents.
2.1Animation and vedio
At first, I was amazed by the animation. When I click the mouse, these lights and shadows will sway with time. It's so beautiful! And I was astonished by the designer. However, there is a strange thing. Below the picture, there is a scroll bar. I think it's a switch to control the verity of animation, so I try to study it from Baidu. The following is my result. It mainly use two effects. One is fade-over, the other is erasure.
But in the end, it's actually a vedio, which can be cut out easily in microsoft powerpoint 2013. It's a convenient tool. And now I know vedios also can overspread the whole screen as background pictures.
2.2Animation painter
If there is no animation, the slide is so general or ordinary that we don't noctice it. However, when it was configured with animation, it can attract more attention. During this time, I feel that adjusting time is a job of wasting time. Whether is there a tool to shorten repeated things? I find there is a tool named animation painter that I've not used before. Use this tool, I make the following slide.
Because the Jianshu can't show the animation effect, so the result only can be seen by myself.
Ps:
Most pictures from buyigongzi.
